7/7 Bargaining Update
Today we had our 36th session of negotiations with Allina. In the morning we had some discussion as a team and with the employer about our respective Recognition proposals, specifically around how to define the 20% threshold for inclusion in our bargaining unit. No new proposals were made about the 20% issue, but we think the conversation was productive and hope to make progress on this item going forward.
We did give Allina an updated Recognition proposal with changes outside of the threshold language, which we presented at 12:30 PM.
At 1:55 PM Allina responded. They did not have a formal counter for us, but they were seeking clarification on aspects of our most recent proposal to the employer. They clarified that they hope to have a counter proposal by our next meeting. We also talked about scheduling bargaining sessions for August and September, and will work out dates in the near future.
